The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Today

Galt City Council Youth Committee

When and where: 6 p.m., City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council shirtsleeve

Key item: Receive utility financial reports for the third quarter of fiscal year, which ended in March.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Recreation Commission

Key item: Open discussion and approval of design concept for Roget Park.

When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Unified School District board of trustees

Key items:

  • Elimination of classified staff due to lack of work or funds; reduction in child center employee services for the 2011-12 school year.
  • Report on Green Tech Academy high school education development process.
  • Budget assumptions update for 2011-12 school year.
  • Recognition of the 2011 classified employee of the year Eric McCarty, a special education paraeducator at Bear Creek High and Morada Middle schools.
  • Recognition of Elkhorn School and Middle College High School for winning California Distinguished School awards.

When and where: 7 p.m., James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 E. Vine St., Lodi.

Galt City Council

Key items:

  • Discuss whether to sponsor a concert in the park series in August and whether to allow the sale of beer and wine.
  • Adopt ordinance eliminating the Galt Planning and Parks and Recreation Commission.
  • Proclamation recognizing Olympic Day on June 23.

When and where: 7 p.m., City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Presentation about the 2011 San Joaquin county Fair by Nanette Martin, fair board vice president.
  • Agreement with Our Lady of Fatima Society for law enforcement services for five rodeos or bloodless bullfights in Thornton on June 12, July 17, Aug. 7, Aug. 28 and Sept. 25. Cost to the society is $11,175.51.

When and where: 9 a.m., board chamber, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.

Wednesday

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee

Key item: Consider a request from Maria Barajas to allow an outdoor storage cargo container at La Capilla Market.

When and where: 5:15 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Arts Commission

Key item: Receive reports on the art advisory board, a taco truck cookoff, art hop and artisan masters.

When and where: 5:30 p.m., Hutchins Street Square, Thomas Theatre Gallery, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Lodi City Council

Key items:

  • Consider request from Christian Cole, owner of California Street Pub, for a use permit to allow an outdoor seating or standing drinking area at California Street Pub.
  • Consider request from Fawad Ebrahimi of Go Green Recycling Center for a use permit for warehousing and storage for recycled materials at 1803 South Stockton Street.

When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Woodbridge Sanitary District board

Key items:

  • Consider approving district budget for the 2011-12 fiscal year.
  • Consider establishing electrical power to the sewer ponds.
  • Update on new operations and maintenance manual.
  • Consider issuing a credit card for employee fuel purchases.

When and where: 7 p.m., Woodbridge fire station portable classroom, 400 E. Augusta St., Woodbridge.

Thursday

North San Joaquin Water Conservation District

(closed session)

Key item: Review watermaster job applications for interview process.

When and where: 1 p.m., Lodi Police community room, 215 W. Elm St., Lodi.

    Are these the only two issues the council will consider and or vote on at this meeting?
