Two Lodi residents sustained minor injuries after a group of suspects in a car shot at them with either a pellet or a BB gun Wednesday.
At approximately midnight Wednesday, four subjects were seen riding in a white four-door sedan similar to a Toyota Camry, Lodi police stated.
There were seen driving for a short period of time, first on and around the 400 block of Louie Avenue, where police said they began shooting what appeared to be a BB gun or pellet gun.
Initially, a young boy was struck in the neck on Louie Avenue.
The suspected car was later seen near the intersection of Lodi and South Crescent avenues, where shots were again fired.
A woman was hit twice, once in the stomach and once on her cheek, police stated.
All of the injuries were considered minor and neither individual needed medical attention, though police say the injuries could have been worse.
No suspects have been identified yet, and police are asking the public to contact them with any possible information.
Anyone with any information regarding the BB gun or pellet gun shootings should contact Lodi Area Crime Stoppers at 209-333-6771.
