The driver of either a Ford Expedition or Explorer swerved off Highway 99 and crashed into a power pole at about 9 a.m. Sunday, according to Woodbridge Fire Capt. Jaime Ramirez.

The SUV was headed northbound on Highway 99 and crashed into the pole on the Peltier Road offramp, Ramirez said. The driver, whose name was not available was trapped and had to be extricated, he added.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the driver  suffered minor injuries.
