Stockton resident Wilfred Frank Luce Jr., 48, received a four-count indictment for receiving and distributing child pornography, according to the United States Attorney's Office.
The indictment, which alleges that Luce's actions took place between March and July of this year, was handed down Thursday.
It is the result of an investigation by the San Joaquin Sheriff's Department and the Sacramento and San Jose Internet Crimes Against Children task forces.
Luce faces a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years in federal prison if convicted. Assistant United States Attorney Kyle Reardon is the lead prosecutor for the case.
