Improving safety measures has become a top priority for Lodi Unified School District, which has raised fences and increased the number of security cameras at local school campuses. Soon, a new program will prepare schools for a worst-case scenario: a gunman on campus.
Lodi Unified approved a contract with Jerry Adams Management Consulting, LLC to provide active shooter scenario training for teachers and staff at all school campuses at its regular meeting on Tuesday night.
