For the first time, Michael-David Winery will host a night of comedy.

On Saturday, June 16, three comedians will humor guests as they enjoy wines from Michael-David Winery, a selection of cheeses and the scenic event grounds at the winery. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

A complimentary wine tasting is included from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The comedy show will begin at 8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and a picnic meal to eat under the night sky.

The show will be headlined by Mark Pitta, a former TV personality from San Francisco who has appeared on "The Tonight Show," "Mad About You" and Comedy Central. Pitta has opened shows for James Brown, Rick Springfield and local talent Chris Isaak.

The evening will be hosted and emceed by local comedian Kevin Young. Young's big break came by taking part in the San Francisco International Stand Up Comedy Competition in 2007 and again 2011. He is a favorite in comedy clubs throughout the West Coast and has opened for comedian Robin Williams.

Also in the evening's line-up is Larry "Bubbles" Brown, who has appeared on "Late Night with David Letterman."

For more information or to purchase tickets, call 888-707-WINE (707-9463) or 209-368-7384, or email vintage@mich aeldavidwinery.com.
