Downtown Galt senior project on docket
The Galt City Council will decide tonight whether to approve Galt Place, an 81-unit senior affordable housing and retail project. The three-story complex would include 10,000 square-feet of commercial space and be built at 4th and D streets in downtown Galt. The graphic below shows where the housing project would be located. Funny, three stories and commercial businesses also? I'd assume those businesses would be on the third floor to give all seniors in this old folks home easy access to ground level? Sounds kinda like a copy cat plan of Lodi. Maybe you could share the same architects, builders and contractors and save some money. Yours gonna be in the slum part of town, too? LOL
