Sugar Coated Donuts merely make ones Blood Sugar sky-rocket and I don't need Type 2 Diabetes. But I have no problem with you donating your time to feeding the hungry, even if they are donuts. I chose to go down to the Maple House, (An Alcoholic rehab meeting place at 2 East Lodi Avenue and get up on their roof and cut down all the tree limbs that were smothering the roof. It looked bad every time I walked past and it was a chance for me to do something free for the community.

I didn't know it was 93 when I started the job, but I knew it by the time I was done. But it was still worth doing. So you just keep doing what your doing Doug and I will do my part as well.

GO LPD!! Hopefully our new Chief Helms has the answers to help combat these punks and eradicate their gang activities before it gets any worse.

Very good job of the LPD to arrest these guilty parties !! We need them off our streets. I applaud the new Police Chief for a good start. Most Latinos live in the East side of Lodi, where all the trouble is .

Ya know Mr.Chaney, I just have never made it my priority to stick my nose in other peoples business. And, I suggest you consider doing the same. As long as it is legal people have every right to conduct business anytime, anywhere. If YOU are privy to information about illegal operations, I suggest you report it to the proper authorities. By the way, the info you thought you "leaked" about liquor license changes was for Rosewood only, was a matter of public record and is over a year old. We did have a good laugh about it though. Good grief, collect stamps or something.

And, Mr. Chapman, you still haven't responded to my comment on this issue, either?

And, Raymond, I was delivering those "day old donuts", as you call them to the Community Project Thrift Shop and Community Center. I hope you have the courage to go there, or better yet, to the Panera bread bakery and tell them about me delivering their "day old donuts". I don't recall ever seeing a "donut" among the products that are donated each night to a different non-profit group, who in turn glean them to me 2, 3 or 4 days a week. All of those artisan breads, bagels and specialized treats are from the previous evening and far from "day old donuts", Raymond. The managers and employees at Panera bread are anxious to meet you, Raymond, so stop by and tell them to quit donating their "day old donuts" to me? Go back to patrolling Main street, Raymond.

Same Old, Same Old. Just another day in Lodi!

Where is Doug, to come to the rescue?

Mr. Chapman, who do you propose to help these young men and women if we completely stop trying? You might be a quitter, but I'm certainly not. If we can change but one life to a positive future, then we have done our part.
