The Lodi Youth Commission also holds teen dances during the school year. These events have City staff and adult volunteers as chaperones to ensure they are alcohol-free and safe events, and have the high schools' support. LYC dances should not be confused with the dances referred to in this story. The City will not allow a teen dance in a City-owned or City-leased facility unless it is being held by the Youth Commission or by a City partner, such as the school district, because of a bad experience in 2011.

Shouldn't that read "Students' " and not "Student's"?

Curious what the fee is to rent this hall and WHO is financing it. Is it just through individual entry fees? Or are a number of parents putting up the money?
