The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Galt Youth Committee

When and where: 6 p.m., Galt City Hall, City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Giving Opportunities to Kids Foundation

Key items:

  • Budget update.
  • Tokay High School grant request.
  • Future fundraising efforts.

When and where: 4:30 p.m., James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 E. Vine St., Lodi.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council Shirtsleeve

Key item: Receive update on business development efforts.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Unified School District Board of Trustees

When and where: 7 p.m., James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 E. Vine St., Lodi.

Wednesday

Lodi City Council

Key items:

  • Sale of easement at White Slough to Wal-Mart for environmental mitigation.
  • Award contract for Ham Lane Overlay project to Teichert Construction of Stockton.
  • Make appointments to Library Board of Trustees and Lodi Arts Commission.

When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Galt City Council

Key items:

  • Make an appointment to the Measure R Committee to fill a vacant position.
  • Adopt the city’s investment policy.
  • Approve the allocation of $250 in council discretionary funds for a portion of the Senior Club 44th anniversary luncheon.
  • Swearing in of new Officer Jeffrey Weaver and Lt. Brian Kalinowski, both of whom start Monday, and presentation of police dog retirements.

When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Hall, City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Thursday

Galt Planning Commission

Key item: Workshop is to provide an overview of the Housing Element Update process and discuss housing needs, potential barriers to affordable housing and policies to address these.
