Annual Easter ‘Run and Fun’ Saturday

The eighth annual Easter Run and Fun will be held Saturday at Lodi Lake, 1101 W. Turner Road. The 5K run/walk begins at 8:10 a.m., and the quarter-mile kids’ run will begin at 9:15 a.m.

Medals will be awarded for first through third place in each division, and all registered finishers of the quarter-mile kids’ race will receive a ribbon. There will be a raffle open to all registered participants.

Registration fee is $25 for 5K run/walk and $5 for quarter-mile kids’ race. Proceeds will benefit the Lodi Salvation Army’s Hope Harbor Family Service Center.

An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and Easter carnival will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Bear Creek Community Church, 11171 N. Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi.

Breakfast is $5 per person, and carnival entry is free. All registered 5K participants are entitled to a free breakfast with presentation of their bib number. For more information or to register, call 209-369-2202 or visit www.bearcreekchurch.com.
