In a closed session Tuesday, the board of directors for the East Bay Municipal Utility District voted unanimously not to appeal an April court decision on its Water Supply Management Program 2040.

On April 11, Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Timothy M. Frawley directed EBMUD to study several areas of its plan in greater detail, including possible effects on the Middle Bar segment of the Mokelumne River. The judge also suggested EBMUD look at the neighboring Contra Costa Water District’s Los Vaqueros Reservoir expansion as part of its plan for the future.
