Noted Galt dentist killed in motorcycle wreck

A well-known Galt dentist died Thursday in a motorcycle crash while on vacation in Idaho.

Dr. Kenneth Sanford, 67, of Acampo, was riding his 2002 BMW motorcycle west on U.S. 12 in Idaho when he lost control and hit a patch of gravel just before 10 a.m., according to an Idaho State Police news release.

    Oh man I am so sorry to You all at Dr sanfords office and To the family. He was a wonderful Dentist and human being. I remember one time I was in such pain that he opened his office on a saterday to pull my tooth and he did it at no charge cause we were broke and he was seventh day adventist. He has always taken care of me and family with such pride and you never felt you were at the dentist at all you were with your friends. He will be missed by the whole town Im sure God Bless You KEN. And bless all your loved ones with peace and faith to go on

    I have known Dr. Sanford since I was 3 years old; he would always take the time after my parent's appointment to let me sit in the big chair while he took a look at my teeth and he always had a great prize drawer! Such a kind man. My thoughts are with his family.
