The Angels Camp Police Department has finished its investigation and forwarded to the District Attorney's Office a recommendation to charge Robert Rappleye with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, according to Police Chief Todd Fordahl.
Rappleye, of Elk Grove, is a long-time employee of the Galt Joint Union High School District and most recently served as Galt High School's assistant principal. It is unclear whether this incident will affect his employment.

I have heard from good sources that his golfing party had quite a problem with overcomsumption the day of the alleged incident.
