    The crime of "possession of a high capacity magazine" doesn't even exist in California. Least of their worries though.

    And what is the significance of the article saying they are senior citizens? With names like Cam and Gan they don't appear to be Mexicans.

    The police may want to consult the Penal Code before attempting to charge people with things that aren't crimes, as possession of a high capacity magazine is not a crime (or else several million law-abiding Californians would becomes felons overnight).

    Why do all lowlife newspapers love to use the term assault rifle? In the real world (outside a politicians head) one of the main features of an assault rifle is being fully automatic.
