Lodi man, 18, suspected of DUI, possession of firearm

Lodi police arrested an 18-year-old Lodi man they believed to be in possession of a firearm Tuesday.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Lake Home Drive for a report of a window that was smashed, according to Lodi police. During the time officers were responding to the scene, they located a possible suspect and followed him to his residence on the 500 block of Sonora Avenue.

Officers said they contacted the man, searched his car and found a .22-caliber firearm inside the vehicle, according to Lodi police.

Officers arrested Justin Woods on suspicious of possessing a firearm and driving under the influence. He was booked into the Lodi Police Department Jail, but has since been released from custody.
