Mr Baumbach, please state your reasoning for your comment, "big mistake". Since you live in the big city of Acampo, why should you again have such a negative attitude toward the skate park? Nearly every city has one, why shouldn't Lodi? Please keep your negativity in Acampo. When you are a Lodi taxpayer, then you may come to the meetings and express your feelings toward those youths that strive to enjoy and obey the rules to keep their skate park open for all to enjoy. Lighten up, Mr. Baumbach. Or are you just trying to make the sprint to the 10,000 blog mark?

Big mistake...

Thanks to everyone who supported the opening of the skatepark. Thank Mr. Hood for working with the community on getting the park open again. About 30 to 40 kids showed up to ride their scooters, skateboards and bikes. If you want to see what everything is about, please stop by and watch the kids. It takes a lot of skill to jump a bike, skateboard or scooter.

Thank you to everyone who worked together and found a solution regarding the skatepark. Jeff Hood, thank you for giving the kids a second chance.

Thank you, Mr. Hood, for your decision to open the skate park for the youths. I only hope they have enough respect to do their part to assure that it remains that way.
