The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors awarded a $144,186.75 contract to Teichert Construction to extend the fire system at Micke Grove Park in south Lodi.

The fire system and hydrants will be extended to the county museum, memorial park and zoo.

Fish screen construction update to be discussed

The Woodbridge Irrigation District board will hear an update on the district's new fish screen at today's board meeting.

The board will also hear about an agreement with Stockton developer Matt Arnaiz to construct an L-shaped concrete structure on a lateral south of Morada Lane for $39,000 and environmental work needed for Woodbridge to sell water to the city of Stockton.

The board meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the district office, 18777 N. Lower Sacramento Road, Woodbridge.

Old schoolhouse, park on directors' agenda

Lockeford Community Services District directors will consider a request by the Lockeford Historical Society to use the old schoolhouse on Jack Tone Road at today's board meeting.

The board will also hear an update on community park plans and sewer connection fees for the proposed Livermore Acres subdivision.

Livermore Acres is a 307-home subdivision proposed northeast of Jack Tone and Brandt roads.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the Lockeford Community Center's McDonald Building, 19456 N. Jack Tone Road.
