Sacramento County, city of Galt transit meeting scheduled

The Sacramento County Department of Transportation and city of Galt will hold a public hearing next month to review an amendment to the South County Transit Link Short Range Transportation Plan.

Copies of the amendment can be requested by emailing dmartinez@ci.galt.ca.us or by calling 209-366-7288. In addition, copies are available for viewing at the Galt Public Library and Isleton City Hall. Comment in writing by Jan. 23 to the address below or offer testimony in person during the public hearing.

A special Highway 99 Express bus will be available to take meeting attendees to Florin Mall in Sacramento, Elk Grove Boulevard in Elk Grove, and to Lodi Transit Center if needed. There will also be a Dial-a-Ride bus to take meeting attendees to their homes in Isleton, Galt and Herald after the meeting. Contact SCT/Link to reserve your seat at 209-745-3052.

The hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m., Jan. 24 at Galt City Hall-Council Chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.
