It might not be summer just yet, but with potentially record-setting temperatures expected this week, it will certainly feel like mid-July.
A heat wave began moving into the valley early this week, helping temperatures quickly climb into the 90s. By Wednesday afternoon, temperatures reached the high 90s in Lodi and threatened to break the record of 100 set in 1972, according to Meteorologist Dave Samuhel, of AccuWeather.com, a private forecasting service.
