In an ongoing effort to provide value to its members, new Galt Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Frank Gayaldo enlisted ideas and collaborated with the Galt Chamber board to create a vehicle to help deliver a more rural, Galt-like experience on the Internet.

The new website, which launches today, incorporates video media on the new Galt Chamber YouTube channel, with enhanced map functions to more effectively find businesses, giving people a tool to better connect with all things Galt.

"Shortly after coming aboard the Galt Chamber team, one thing I recognized is that many of the Chamber businesses were invisible. Only people in Galt really knew about Galt business," Gayaldo said in a press release.

"I saw a great opportunity being missed to connect to the rest of the world that travels on the 99 freeway to stop in Galt as another option to Elk Grove and Lodi," he said. "Each day, thousands completely miss the opportunity to visit one of the many amazing businesses that make up Galt's economy."

Gayaldo believes the new website will deliver yet another way to drive more revenue to Chamber members. The chamber intends to re-engage chamber members and potential chamber members frequently, using the site as a means to get information out, according to the press release. It will also highlight a "Featured Business" every month to two months.
