The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Galt Youth Commission

  • When and where: 6 p.m., Galt City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt

Tuesday

Lodi City Council shirtsleeve session

Key item:

  • Mid-year report on city expenditures for 2011-12 fiscal year.
  • When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Galt City Council

Key items:

  • Conduct a public hearing on the 2012 utility rates adjustments, and, in absence of a majority protest, adopt a resolution approving the revised rate schedules for stormwater drainage, water, garbage and wastewater services to be effective March 1.
  • Approve the purchase and sale agreements with multiple owners for the acquisition of nine parcels in the Galt Old Town area.
  • Adopt a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a contract for construction of the Walker Community Park bleachers project in the amount of $134,600.
  • Award the purchase of one crack sealer in the amount of $42,509.
  • When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Lodi Unified School District board

Key items:

  • Consider whether to approve Community Charter School of the Arts. Staff recommends denial.
  • High school social studies courses.
  • Public hearing on contract re-openers with the Lodi Unified supervisory group for the 2012-13 school year.
  • Annual reports by the Measure K and Measure L oversight committees, and for Aspire Public Schools.
  • Information on the Air Quality Flag Program, funded by the American Lung Association, for Bear Creek High School.
  • Consider expelling 11 students in the district.
  • When and where: 7 p.m., James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 E. Vine St., Lodi.

Lodi Recreation Commission

Key items:

  • Repair rental facilities at Lodi Lake.
  • Proposed Lodi Lake improvements.
  • Mokelumne River access.
  • Volunteer labor.
  • When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Tuesday’s San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors meeting is canceled.

Wednesday

Galt Parks and Recreation Commission

  • When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Lodi Planning Commission

Key items:

  • Use permit to establish a wood processing, composting and recycling business at 1045 E. Lockeford St. Eric Horton is the applicant.
  • Request for on-sale liquor license at 117 N. Sacramento St. Rodney Paiste and John Russell are the applicants.
  • Request for beer and wine license at 100 N. Cherokee Lane, Suite 5. Antonia Marquez de Perez is the applicant.
  • When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Review grant proposal by Bear Creek Community Church and Lodi Community Band.
  • Lodi Arts Commission’s 30th anniversary.
  • Taco truck cookoff for 2012.
  • Reports on Project Lodi Art, art advisory board, Art Hop, artisan masters and arts calendar/website.
  • When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Woodbridge Sanitary District board

Key items:

  • Consider adopting a business plan for the district.
  • Review the capital fund and whether to fund a portion of the district’s preliminary list of capital improvements.
  • Consider preparing updated design standards.
  • Hire a consultant to conduct pipe inspections.
  • When and where: 7 p.m. fire station, 400 E. Augusta St., Woodbridge.

Wednesday’s Site Plan & Architectural Review Committee (SPARC) meeting is canceled.

Thursday

Reclamation District 348 board

Key items:

  • Consider hiring SCI Consulting Group for engineering work and levy administration.
  • Consider hiring SCI Consulting Group to prepare an engineer’s report for the 2012-13 fiscal year.
  • Consider agreement with the Wagner & Bonsigmore civil engineering firm.
  • Solicitation package to the California Department of Water Resources for hazard mitigation plan levee repair.
  • When and where: 2 p.m., Croce & Co., 501 W. Weber Ave., fifth floor, Stockton.
