The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Lodi Library Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Review and discuss the Lodi Public Library Patron Internet Use policy.
  • Consider the employment, evaluation of performance, discipline or dismissal of a public employee regarding the Library Services Director.
  • Receive reports on the private sector, on the Friends of the Lodi Public Library and the Lodi Public Library Foundation.

When and where: 5:30 p.m., Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust Street, Lodi.

Lodi Animal Advisory Commission

Key items:

  • Complete the Lodi Animal Advisory Commission report.
  • Discuss commission members.

When and where: 6 p.m., Lodi Police Department, Community Room, 215 W. Elm Street, Lodi.

Lodi Greater Area Youth Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Tuesday

Lodi Improvement Committee

Key items:

  • Discuss Lodi Avenue nuisance issues.
  • Receive report on issues from previous meeting and on community development, the police department and Public Works.

When and where: 6 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Arcohe Union School District

Key item: Budget special study session.

When and where: East Campus Media Center, 11755 Ivie Road, Herald.

Galt Joint Union High School District board of trustees

Key items:

  • Approve ratification of tentative agreement for CSEA contract through June 30, 2013
  • Receive an update on the Governor’s May Revision and its affect on the district budget
  • Discuss the superintendent search in closed session

When and where: 6:30 p.m., Galt City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Wednesday

Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Elect a new chairperson and vice chairperson.
  • Receive reports on the art advisory board, Art Hop and the arts calendar and website.
  • Discuss the taco truck cook off, the pub sign up and the Strategic Planning Meeting at June 14.

When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Planning Commission

Key items:

  • Approve a use permit for Rio Valley Charter School at 1530 W. Kettleman Lane.
  • Consider amending a use permit application to allow the sell of some alcoholic beverages at 9 and 9 1/2 W. Locust Street on behalf of AH Wines.
  • Make a recommendation to the council to approve the rezoning of property located at 515 S. Lower Sacramento Road to planned development.

When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Review Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Galt Parks and Recreation Committee

When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Thursday

Lodi Special Arts Commission

Key item: Conduct a Strategic Planning meeting.

When and where: 6 p.m., 1263 Lakeshore Drive, Lodi.

Galt Planning Commission

When and where: 6:30 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl.
