Ling is a 3-year-old, neutered and microchipped Japanese chin (a breed related to Pekinese). He is a perfect lap dog and would fit best with an older person or couple, but he still needs more work with house training. If you have time, love and attention to give, come and meet Ling.

Ling is being offered for adoption through PALS, a Lodi-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in Lodi. For more information about Ling, please call PALS at 224-0354 or e-mail to pals.lodi @yahoo.com.

To see other cats and dogs available for adoption, visit the PALS Adoption Center at 1405 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi; or visit www.palslodi.org and www.petfinder.com. Center hours are Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Oreo is an affectionate and gentle border collie mix who is approximately 4 years old. She has been spayed, her vaccinations are current and she is microchipped. Oreo has been given basic obedience training and knows sit, stay, down, come and heel. She is also house-trained and is used to using a doggie door. Oreo is loving and enjoys hugs, putting her paw and head in laps, sleeping in the bedroom and is very protective of her toys. She will also alert you to strange noises by barking. Oreo is playful, gets along best with other female dogs and needs an active outlet for her energy, so an active household would be best for her. If you have time, attention and love to give, come and meet Oreo.

Oreo is being offered for adoption through Animal Friends Connection, a Lodi nonprofit organization dedicated to helping companion animals since 1990. For more information on Oskar, call 368-1761.
