Clark Pest Control selected 9-year-old David Frame from Stockton as a finalist in its search for the star of next season's statewide television advertising campaign.

Frame lives in Stockton and attends River Oaks Charter School. David is an aspiring actor who loves making up plays with his older sister, his father said in a press release.

After auditioning more than 300 people during the Lodi Grape Festival, the panel chose Frame's audition tape becaues it showed a unique quality the company is looking for in its campaigns, a Clark press release said.

Auditions were also held in Reno and Paso Robles, and finalists were selected from each of those auditions.

The auditions, including Frame's and the other finalists,' can be seen online at www.clarkpest.com.
