Possible high school annexation and new housing developments could be included in the upcoming Liberty Ranch Specific Plan discussed briefly at Tuesday’s city council meeting. The other plans refer to the city’s northwest, downtown revitalization and historic areas.
A specific plan is the planning tool used to put into place items in the city’s General Plan. This document is required by the state and adopted by every municipality regarding how a city will develop, according to Tony Stewart, the city’s new community development director.
