Raymond Delmond Smith is a pensioner who lives at the Hotel Lodi. He made his living building fences and doing custodial work. Oh, and in case you haven’t heard, Mr. Smith wants to go to Washington. In fact, he wants to be president.

Smith, 74, is an official write-in candidate running for the American Independent Party nomination, and he believes a fresh perspective is badly needed.

You'd leave it oval, huh? Maybe you should concentrate on doing stand-up instead of trying to win the presidency. But, if you decide to go for the presidency and you win could I be your Secretary of State. I'd like the travel.
