The Lodi News-Sentinel is joining a statewide effort undertaken by the California Newspaper Publishers Association to help put faces to names of the state’s Vietnam War casualties.

The photos will help fill the blanks in an online “Wall of Faces” created by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. The project is a nationwide, state-by-state display of photographs of the 58,286 soldiers killed during the Vietnam War.
