A Lodi attorney known for suing businesses that don't comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act has himself been sued by brothers who claim he has committed the same violation with his own office.

James and Robert McCarty, who own the Town & Country Liquors property at Highway 88 and Elliott Road in Lockeford, filed suit against Lodi ADA attorney Russell Humphrey on March 4 in U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California.

Humphrey said,..... "they resist the ADA requirements, much like many people who once opposed the right of women and African-Americans from voting."

I bet 10 bucks You do not know anyone personally who opposed Woman or Colored folks voting !

Having 5 trolls comment that "yes they do and I am a old racist" doesn't count...

These lawsuits are based upon correcting or updating handicap accessibility. I wonder how paying $15,000 makes that problem go away? [wink]

God Bless James McCarty and his brother for standing up for what is right. This is a very good lesson to all young Americans that we still have men like the McCarty's, that at their age, are still up for the fight. Good going Ross Farrow and the Lodi News Sentinel!

Those are good men that the ambulance chaser is suing. I sincerely hope that the next ambulance he chases is the one for himself, to cure his own headaches which he, alone caused himself.
