Galt police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank clerk of an undetermined amount of money Tuesday night.

The man entered the Raley’s market at 10430 Twin Cities Road at about 6 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, police Lt. Jim Uptegrove said. He then left the store, but it wasn’t known where he went, Uptegrove said. No one saw any weapons, and no one was injured, he added.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man about 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, blondish red hair and beard. He was described as wearing an orange and white baseball-style cap, sunglasses, gray short-sleeve shirt, khaki shorts and black shoes. He may have driven a small silver vehicle, police said.

Anyone with information regarding suspect’s identity may call the Galt Police Department at 366-7000.
