Galt police arrested a burglary suspect and are still looking for another after they said they found stolen property in a car during a traffic stop Thursday morning.

Police stopped Stockton resident Bryan Workman at 6:45 a.m. on Industrial Drive near Pringle Avenue, Lt. Brian Vizzusi stated in a news release. Police arrested Workman for possession of stolen property related to several burglaries, possession of a controlled substance and narcotics paraphernalia.

Stockton resident David Draper was a passenger in the car and fled on foot, Vizzusi said. Police are still searching for him. He was last seen at 10:30 a.m. near Industrial Drive and Enterprise Court.

Police described him as black, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and 180 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was wearing a red baseball style cap, a gray sweatshirt and dark shorts or pants.

Police would like to question Draper. Anyone with information should call the Galt Police at 209-366-7000.
