Two masked men got away with robbing a Lodi convenience store on Saturday night, according to the Lodi Police Department.

At 11:30 p.m. Saturday, two Hispanic males wearing black ski masks entered the El Vino store at 225 South Cherokee Lane, said Sgt. Doug Chinn. One carried a pistol in his hand, he said. The pair overpowered the clerk, and forced him to open the cash register. The suspects then ran out of the store and headed south with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was unable to identify the men because of the thick masks each one wore.

Chinn said one man was about five feet, ten inches tall and weighed about 300 pounds. He was wearing a black zippered sweatshirt and gray t-shirt. His companion was the same height and weighed about 250 pounds. He wore a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt.

Police have not yet located suspects in this crime. Anyone with information is encouraged to cal Lodi Area Crime Stoppers at 209-331-6771.
