Two men shot in separate incidents Thursday evening in Lodi are recovering, but no suspects have been arrested in either assault, police said.
Both shootings took place shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
The first occurred during a home invasion at an apartment complex on the 900 block of Rutledge Drive. The victim, a male in his 20s or early 30s, was shot in the mouth during the attack.
The second shooting was the result of a robbery near Cherokee Lane and Eden Street, police said. An ice cream vendor with a push cart was approached by an unknown number of suspects who demanded money, police said.
When the vendor refused, a suspect opened fire. The victim was struck in the stomach and taken to an area hospital. His injuries, like the victim in the home-invasion, were not life-threatening, said Sgt. Doug Chinn of the Lodi Police Department.
Anyone with information on either shooting is urged to call Lodi Area Crime Stoppers at 333-6771.
