Officers on the county task force fighting methamphetamine production were riding a financial roller coaster until earlier this week, when the state Senate finally reinstated their budget.
"It's a relief to have this process over," said Capt. Jess DuBois, who supervises San Joaquin County Sheriff's California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team, describing not knowing the team's funding future as "unsettling."
