While the majority of Lodi-Galt area residents will see Democrat Richard Pan represent the region beginning in January, areas west and east of Lodi will have new faces representing them in the Assembly.
In the 12th Assembly District, Republican Kristin Olson of Modesto defeated Democrat Chris Mateo of Lathrop. Olson received 66,978 votes (61.4 percent) to Mateo’s 42,034 votes (38.6 percent). The district includes Victor, Lockeford, Clements and eastern Acampo.
