Galt City Council candidates focus on public safety

Birthplace: He was born in Payson, Utah.
Family: He is married to Diane, and has four
daughters and three sons. He has an identical twin who died about
two years ago from colon cancer. When his brother died, Anderson
got checked for the same cancer and found out he had it, too. He
credits his brother with saving his life.
Occupation: He has more than 35 years of
experience as a city manager in five different cities. He worked
for two cities in Utah and two cities in Colorado before taking
over the position in Galt about 11 years ago. He retired from the
city earlier this year.
Education: He received a master’s degree in
public administration with an emphasis in city management from
Brigham Young University.
