Duke is a handsome, nearly 5-year-old corgi/pit bull mix. His family’s living situation has changed and they are not able to keep him. His vaccinations are current and he has been neutered and microchipped.

Duke’s a little guy, weighing about 30 pounds. He is a sweetie, and is a house-trained indoor dog. He sits at the door and cries to let you know he has to go out. Duke knows the commands “sit,” “stay,” “down” and “come.” He has lived with cats, but he chases them. Duke is gentle, affectionate, playful, loving and is a lap dog. He loves children, gets along with other dogs, enjoys riding in the car and walks well on a leash. He also enjoys dog parks.

Duke is being offered for adoption through Animal Friends Connection, a Lodi nonprofit organization dedicated to helping companion animals since 1990. For more information about Duke, call 209-368-1761 or 209-365-0535.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
