What an ignorant comment; you don't have to be a redneck to love country music. This is the best bar in the county already! I, for one, am ecstatic!! :D

Nicely done new business story that made the Whiskey Barrel Saloon an interesting place and one that this reader will likely be visiting.
One interesting point I would like to have seen touched upon but wasn't is that if there has been a drinking establishment situated there for 103 years then what about 1920-1933 when Prohibition was in effect in this country? Was it boarded up? Become an ice cream parlor? Or was it Lodi's very own speakeasy?

I am proud of Jerry for following his heart and his dream!!! Lodi was in need of something different, especially downtown. Im excited for him && his fellow employees.

I guess all the rednecks will be happy, but I think this sucks. Just another sign of Lodi being a hick town.
