Kind of like taking over the Titanic the day before it's first voyage. Bon Voyage!Actually, I think a better analogy would be ... its like taking over the Titanic after it hit the ice berg, its half way sunk, and he is confident he can do something about the destiny of the ship. I think it would be a good strategy to focus on ship recovery rather that thinking about how to stop the ship from sinking. I wish him success.... but since its the unions that created much of the financial mess... hard to believe that they would find a solution.

He only got 20% of the Tokay teachers vote. Meaning 80%, at Tokay, voted for someone else. Not sure what that means other than who would want that job anyway. That must be an old picture because he's smiling. Does the job come with a windbreaker with at bullseye on it? Good Luck Jeff!

I am not surprised to read that Jeff names Joann Gavin as the reason he became a teacher. If you went to LHS, even if you did not have her for a teacher, all the students & staff loved her. I had the opportunity to be in her Junior English class and she made us work, think, be creative, etc. One of my best teachers at LHS.

Not sure what was disjointed, except that he is speaking for the teachers NOT John Q. Public. It was a vote of the teachers' association, not the public.

assuming the reporting is correct, the disjointed answers given indicate that he has a steep learning curve
