Teri, this car show was advertised in the paper three times in the last two weeks. They were all on the Panorama page. Once was in local ledger and then it was on the sneak peek on the Panorama Weekender page two weeks ago on Friday. Then, it was listed in the top five events this last Friday on the Panorama Weekender page. If you ever want to know about these local events, make sure to check the Panorama page. When we redesigned the paper, we specifically added the Weekender page so people would know what events were going on that weekend. We also had four photos of the event on the website. If you have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail me at pamelab@lodinews.com.

Wow this sounded like a neat car show. Too bad it wasnt advertised more or was it advertised at all? It is a real shame that we only hear of these events after the fact. My parents and I were looking for a car show to attend this weekend and didnt see it in any of the local papers... This isnt the first time I've had this after-the-fact experience either. It would be really nice if the shows were announced ahead of time, I shop locally and didnt see any flyers anywhere either! My folks have attended this show in the past and that is why were looking for it in the paper, they thought it was coming up soon. They also told me that in the past there was good food there too. Why is the reporting for this newspaper so poor?? Even this article seems incomplete with only a couple of photos and no mention of the food and other activities. It would be nice if this paper would DONATE more space to local events. I understand that most events do not have much money to spend on advertising. There could have been a much larger turn-out, as none of my neighbors were aware of it either and would have loved to attend.
