Galt Joint Union High School District trustees will focus on staff development, curriculum and finances, they decided at a workshop held earlier this week.
Among their top priorities are recruiting, training and retaining employees. This could include developing new evaluations and creating competitive salaries.
The board made combined curriculum elements, including core subjects and career and technical education, its second priority, according to trustees.
Superintendent Matthew Roberts said the goal of the exercise was to add an accountability element to the district's strategic plan. The workshop was held Monday.
