A man turned himself in in Las Vegas, telling officers that he robbed a Bank of America in Downtown Lodi on Friday, according to Lt. Sierra Brucia of the Lodi Police Department.
Edward Jacobs, 73, turned himself in at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department sometime Monday afternoon, confessing to the Lodi robbery, Brucia said.
The suspect used a note to steal an undisclosed amount of money from a teller during the robbery, Brucia said. His identity was unknown at that time, and the investigation was ongoing until Las Vegas police informed the Lodi department Jacobs had turned himself in, according to Brucia.
No further information was immediately available.
