East Bay Municipal Utility District releases water from Camanche Reservoir

Due to forecasts of heavy rain this weekend, surges of water
were released from Camanche Reservoir into the Mokelumne River on
East Bay Municipal Utility District, the agency that operates
Camanche, conducted water releases to free up storage space in the
reservoir in anticipation of the rain, said Charles Hardy, an EBMUD
