My brother, the victim, is/was not a knucklehead. He also was not part of any gang. He was friendly with any and everyone who was friendly to him. Though Katie is going by what police said, my brother was NOT a Norteno. He was a great brother and loving uncle, so PLEASE get it right!!!!!!!

Hmmm... A lot of ignorance here, at least acknowledge that it really isn't a racial thing, this gang situation, if you don't know that to be true than you are not informed enough to fully understand what is going on. Yes it is predominately "Latino" or "Mexican" whatever term you choose to use, but there are also white, black and Asian gang members, many of them from the same neighborhoods, "sets" and "cliques" as the ones that are being reported on here, it just makes a better story and makes the rest of you feel better to say that it is only those of Hispanic descent. Oh and it's spelled KNUCKLEHEADS! But they are the ignorant ones.....

Calling Mexican/Latino gang bangers by their ethnicity is not racist it is FACT. You can prance all around with "politically correct" words but facts are facts. Even their tats proclaim their ethnicity and gang affiliations. They are killing innocent people, robbing innocent people and costing American citizens untold thousands of dollars in related costs. Time to get ULTRA tough with these punks.

Ms Bobin stated...I have always known that Ms. Parigoris was one of the "bigots around every corner" here in Lodi, but her post today proves it beyond a doubt...

Ms Bobin's cartoon never ends... the only thing proven is she has an extreme vivid imagination that many in the digital world would envy. Thank you for the fun Ms Bobin...

Alright Lodi... are we ready to admit there is a gang problem here?... Won't be long and Lodi will just be North Stockton". People wearing all red are not making a fashion statement.

If you dispute this assessment, Ms. Parigoris, please explain your statement about "too much tolerance and diversity training."

Are you seriously stating that police should not be trained in the culture of gangs and just have the carte blanche to go out and round up and/or shoot suspected gang members?
