Galt Old-Car Show set for Sept. 30

The Galt Area Historical Society's 25th annual Old-Car Show, normally held on the fourth Sunday of September, will instead be held on the fifth Sunday, Sept. 30.

The show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McFarland Ranch, 8899 Orr Road, between Galt and Thornton. It will feature pre-1943 cars, live entertainment, food and tours of the restored 19th-century John McFarland home.

For people who want to enter their cars in the show, registration is $20 prior to Sept. 30, or $25 on the day of the show. Registration may be mailed to P.O. Box 782, Galt, CA 95632. For more information, call 209-745-0951 or visit www.galthistory.org.
