Lodi police converged on an alley house in the area of Locust and Stockton streets on Wednesday and arrested a man and woman.

The male suspect, Joshua Harrison, 34, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and vandalism.

The woman, Natalie Nunes, 29, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of narcotics and prowling.

While police responded to a call Wednesday morning, a man and woman, later identified as Harrison and Nunes, fled from their home and split up. Harrison allegedly forced his way into the alley home occupied by an acquaintance, Lodi Police Sgt. Mike Oden said.

Officers suspected he was armed and forced their way into the home while holding a shield. They arrested Harrison without incident and found no gun.

Nunes was arrested later, hiding in a cabinet in the backyard of a nearby home.
