Gee, could it be that Mr. Easterling is a big real estate player and owns several downtown buildings and is looking to help those the real estate industry duped legally into those homes with loans they couldn't afford by assumedly escalating their incomes to qualify for those loans, and even many with jumbo loans to buy their suv's, jet skis, ski boats, swimming pools, etc. that help create this housing industry mess Anyone wise enough will simply walk away and purchase another property, or perhaps even the one they can't afford themselves, at half price or less. How convenient to have these mortgage assistance schemes right in front of his wife's coffee shop that will help people stay in their homes worth only half, or less, than what they paid for it. Just walk away and let the realtors and banks wallow in their own pigsty.
