Downtown Lodi shop sunday

Katie Gillespie, left, Tammy Michael, center, and Pina Jurado, of Fashion Safari, are seen in front of the School Street boutique's merchandise. Fashion Safari, owned by Michael, is this week's featured business for the Downtown Lodi Business Partnership's Shop Sunday campaign. Fashion Safari is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday and sells accessories such as sandals, purses, hats, scarves, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, watches and rings. The store is located at 104 N. School St., Suite 100. From 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Post Office Plaza on School Street, Dennis Bloom of Spinning Tunes will be playing live music and the DLBP will host a raffle for a $50 gift certificate to Fashion Safari. This week's special guest is Operation Lifesaver, a nonprofit organization of Union Pacific Railroad. The group promotes railroad safety and will give away prizes and feature a computerized train simulator. (Courtesy photograph)
