From the ocean to Lodi: A crab’s incredible journey

There are 115 miles separating Lodi from the cold waters of Bodega Harbor on the Sonoma County coastline, where dozens of fishermen make their paychecks pulling up nets of crab. But the succulent steamed Dungeness crab enjoyed at the Lodi Boys and Girls Club crab feed Saturday night traveled more than 1,020 miles to reach its final location: Nestled next to a serving of hot spaghetti and a fresh salad.
