dark and cold

are lovers,

heat and light

are too.

cold and heat

can’t get along,

light and dark

are through.

good and evil

got married

deceipt and truth

did too;

they’re often hard

to differenciate,

but imperative we do.

jealousy and forgiveness

are sisters,

jealousy never wins

forgiveness draws together

love makes ammends.

from breath of life

to breathless death

woman and man contend,

and life and death

remain mortal enemies

unto the bitter end.
